Environment consists of the physical aspects of a geographic area. (Anokhi M, 2018)

The climate is very, very dry in this region. It gets about half the annual precipitation than the coastal areas.
Every once in awhile they get treated with some snow.
The Autumn and Spring Seasons are filled with rain.
The name was changed to Heliopolis at one point because Alexander the Great took over Baalbek in 332 BCE and renamed it to Heliopolis aka the city of the Sun.
The massive stones are highly visited by humans who have amazingly left them intact.
The Temples are frequently explored but also always left unharmed.
